Growing up in a family that worked primarily with water and sewer utilities, the majority of knowledge learned was from first hand experience. Other educational knowledge includes a Construction Management degree from Mankato State University. Married and living in Marshall, Minnesota with a son
(18) and a daughter (16). Hobbies include hunting, fishing and

Roger DeBaereCell Phone: 507-530-3895 Roger DeBaere has been with the company for 25 years. He was primarily a backhoe and blade operator until 2008 when promoted to Job Supervisor. Roger holds the following certifications: • Sewage Treatment System Installer
In 2008 he was the supervisor for the following main projects: • ADM Rail Expansion Project, which included rerouting and
reconstruction of the township road

Don Korman

and equipment repair. He has been with the company since early 1992.
Prior to D & G, Don and his brother operated a service shop which
serviced D & G's equipment for 12 years. Don and his wife live on a
farm and raise cattle. |

Heather Planting
Cell Phone: 507-828-7898 Heather Planting has over 4 years of experience in the safety profession. She has been with D & G Excavating since 2002, and is currently the company's Safety Compliance Director. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Southwest Minnesota State University. Through Heather's efforts, D & G Excavating became the first company in Minnesota to partner with MN OSHA in achievement of a Gold rating in safety. Heather serves on the Leadership Committee of the MMSA (Minnesota Mine Safety Association). Heather currently lives near Marshall. Heather serves on the ABC Safety Committee and was selected as “Woman Contractor of the Year” in 2009.

Greg DeVosCell Phone: 507-530-1798 2010 will mark 11 years of employment for Greg. Greg started out "in the trenches" and worked up to a supervisor position in the spring of 2008. Greg's area of expertise is drainage,
specializing in farm tiling. He has been married for 28 years and
has four children, Derek age 25, Devin age 23, and 18-year-old twins
Deanna and Denaca. Greg and his family reside in rural Marshall. |
